Pescallo Ancient Corner is a 4 level Townhome on a pedestrian only street, just 10 meters from the Lake and adjacent to Porto Pescallo and its “spiagetta”.
Our home is perfect for a small family or two couples visiting.
The lower level “Taverna” consists of a kitchen, TV and lounge area with original double doors leading out to an iconic stone walkway down to the Lake just 10 meters away.
The ground and first floors each consist of a bedroom and full bath and both are fully air conditioned.
The top second floor consists of a kitchen, living/TV room and our wrap around terrace with southern and western exposures along with a view of the Lake.
Both the Taverna and top second floor have pull out couches for additional sleeping.
Special Considerations
We are a short 5-10 minute walk into Bellagio “Borgo” (the main part of town). There are several walkway paths to get to the main road into the Borgo. HOWEVER, you must walk up a set of stairs at any of 3 different locations, all of which require a decent “climb” to access the road into Borgo. It is not intense, but it is NOT suitable for anyone with mobility issues or small children that may have difficulty managing stairs. In addition, our home is on four levels with about 10 or so stairs to each floor and also is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or for small children.
Porto Pescallo is renowned as a sailing harbor. We are steps from Bellagio Sailing. Our shores are shallow and do not allow for any access via Navigazione Laghi. This is a blessing – we are not buried in day trip tourism. But, if you want to visit Varenna, Menaggio, Tremezzo, Villa Balbionella, Como, etc., you must walk up the steps to the Borgo for ferry access.
Our home is in a pedestrian zone only and nearby car access is “ZTL” restricted. We can assist with parking and access if you have a car and there are plenty of nearby parking.
We are steps away from Ristorante La Pergola on the Lake. Also, the beautiful Hotel Belvedere is just up the steps behind us. Both are great options for lunch, dinner, cocktails, etc.
In Pescallo, and close by just up the steps from our home, are La Bellagina Ristorante/Pizzeria, Coppola’s Bakery and Bellagio Frutta (a fantastic local fruit and vegetable store). In Bellagio Borgo, we can recommend several of our favorite and legendary dining and shopping spots, with introductions to the local Bellagini owners, too! Supermarket access is about 1.5km away – a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk.

Villa Serbelloni and its amazing grounds and sights frame your view to the north and are well worth a visit and tour.
Finally, we do have a property caretaker and manager on the ground in Bellagio and they are available for any special requests or needs.
